OFFCUT STOOL
A stool made by selecting characterful pieces of wood from piles of offcuts left on a demolition site, and assembling them while preserving their different colors, cross sections, and traces of wear. For the legs, wood that would otherwise have been discarded was used, with each individual expression serving as a clue for the composition. The seat is made from new plywood, combining the irregular character of the offcuts with a smooth and stable surface. By embracing the different times embodied in each material, the stool emerges as a piece of furniture for everyday use.
